The IP65/67 8697 head has mechanical or inductive position switches, and an integrated pneumatic pilot to control single-acting actuators.  This innovation replaces the type 1062, offering one-button commissioning for decentralised automation for small drives.

The Bürkert Academy expands process knowledge with qualified trainers

The Bürkert Academy has expanded its range of process industry courses and released its training calendar for 2014. The Academy will conduct courses in all state capitals and regional processing centres, on a monthly or bimonthly basis, throughout the year.  Courses will be conducted in Bürkert's training facilities, or can be arranged on-site to minimise delegate travel.

Universal Control Head from Bürkert delivers process valve automation for hygienic valves from any manufacturer!

The advantages of decentralised process control are well known, however the cost of installing a brand new set of intelligent valves in a production line can be prohibitive. The answer for many process applications can now be provided by the type 8681 universal control head from Bürkert, which is available with a retrofit kit making it compatible with all commercially available hygienic process valves, from any manufacturer!

Integrating a sensor, control electronics and proportional valves into a single compact device, Bürkert's new Liquid Flow Controller (LFC) provides fast, accurate measurement and dosing of small liquid volumes, with nominal flow of 10 - 600 ml/min (0.6 to 36 l/h) and 1:10 measuring span.  The LFC is based on Bürkert's proven mass flow technology, for gas measurement and control.
