Bürkert Brisbane process control facilities boosted by move

Bürkert Fluid Control Systems Queensland has moved to new Brisbane facilities, to support huge expansion experienced in the state.  The move follows Bürkert Queensland's strongest sales months ever, which continues a trend of sustainable growth and expansion by the Bürkert Group world-wide.

Burkert Queensland is now in the booming Eight Mile Plains 'Brisbane Technology Park,' at Unit 1, 88 Brandl Street.  The new facility adjoins other technology and R&D organisations and comprises engineering offices, event facilities plus service and operations zones.

Managing Director Mr Chris Hoey says the move to the multi-million dollar facility in Brisbane Technology Park reflects the direction of Bürkert's growth in the high-tech arena, with more to come as extensive new technologies are introduced over 2011/12.

"Technology advances such as our popular ELEMENT range and new 'iValve' control solution put Bürkert customers in the lead with cost efficiency plus better functionality," said Mr Hoey.  "We're delighted that customer confidence has been recognised with this major investment in facilities designed to serve our rapidly expanding share of the Queensland market.

"Supporting this growth we have appointed new Queensland team members, most recently welcoming Alan Dunbar to the team.  Alan is a valve expert with extensive hands-on and specification control valves experience.  Alan has diverse experience with food and beverage, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, water treatment and steam sectors.  Intensive training with Bürkert technologies has prepared him to get out and renew relations with our customers in Brisbane's west, plus Toowoomba and Dalby."
